Jiangsu Tianhong Machinery Industry is a Chinese company specialising in the production of industrial machinery. The lack of space in the existing warehouse could therefore have become a limitation for the expansion of the production volume. After evaluating various options at length, a decision was made to exploit the vertical space in the facilities, with the introduction of Modulas. In February 2021, 10 Modula Lifts were installed in an area of about 90 m2 at the warehouse. They were used to store components, bearings and sensors, occupying a total storage volume of over 1000 m3.
With this solution, Jiangsu Tianhong Machinery has succeeded in its goal of expanding production while keeping their premises intact, and has improved the warehouse organisation.
