ISM 2024: an important milestone opening the way for new chapters to be written in our story

The ISM 2024 event, held on 28 and 29 October at our HQ in Fiorano Modenese, has just drawn to a close. It was a key moment with regards the growth of our team and our global business. Over 130 people from more than 40 countries attended, with the presence of 14 subsidiaries and 50 dealers, gathered in a single location: our Fiorano headquarters, a place that embodies the union of technology, design and architecture.

For two intense days, we welcomed our global sales force to enjoy a rich experience of content, exchange and discussion. What have we achieved over the course of these two autumn days in Fiorano, all together?

We visited our Experience Centre to get a preview of all the new products and applications we are currently working on. During the guided tour, we introduced sales tools and technical insights, designed to expand our team’s knowledge and prepare us for new challenges. We discussed our current path and future goals, analysing numbers, projects and visions in a context of total transparency and collaboration. Among the topics addressed, we explored the competition, market dynamics and our software tools, from new pre-sales and after-sales tools to complete customer lifecycle management: from lead acquisition and nurturing, to the service and customer care phase.

Our focus remains on vertical warehouses, an area we know intimately and in which we continue to excel. However, as the range of products, software packages, options and services expands, so does the need to manage this complexity. This requires continuous training, effective communication and a dynamic R&D department that is “hungry” for new ideas.

Not only work: we also found time to have fun, with an escape dinner full of puzzles and challenges, perfectly aligned with our corporate DNA. The event was rounded off with a series of dedicated panel discussions, which gave Modula sellers from all corners of the world the opportunity to ask questions and engage in direct exchange.

What really excites us is the chance to share, grow and set new goals. For a number of years now, ISM is no longer the only meeting point: we have a full calendar that includes events such as the Latam ISM, APAC ISM, US Dealer Meeting and International Customer Care Meeting. As our “family” expands, so does the wish to meet in smaller groups to address specific needs.

This year, software played a starring role with some major innovations: the new Pocket Monitor, Colour Picking, our Optimiser and updates to the WMS, telemetry and cloud, with an IoT-oriented future.
