Modula’s diary has never been busier than in May, with a list of appointments including visits from university students, trade fairs all over the world, in-house events and Industry 4.0 initiatives showcasing our digital factory of the future.
On 10 May, the HR department from Modula Inc. and representatives of the University of Cincinnati visited Modula Italy. They were followed by a delegation from the Maestri del Lavoro of Veneto, who found that Modula exceeded all their expectations on both the production and organization fronts.
During our “Let’s store it” event for clients and dealers from Northern Europe on 16 May, we presented the full range of Modula vertical storage solutions live on YouTube.
On 18 and 19 May, we headed east for a meeting with Chinese and Asian dealers that provided a unique opportunity to explore our Suzhou factory. Our Chinese HQ was built to be just like our Italian one and it offers exactly the same production quality and standards, as it caters to the needs of all markets on the eastern side of the globe.
The third edition of an event to present our Modula Pallet system also took place on 18 May, giving participants the chance to see the machine and discover all its secrets live under the guidance of our staff, directly in the production area. It was a great opportunity to take a close look at the vertical pallet storage solution, which allows completely safe loading from the ground.
Working in partnership with our dealer Quattrotech, our Colombian branch and our US headquarters, we were present at three exhibitions on the other side of the Atlantic: ExpoMafe in Brazil, ExpoIndustrial in Colombia, and Eastec in the United States.
Back in Europe, we were at the Irish National Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition in Dublin with our dealer Quiptech, and we could also be found in Germany at Logistics & Automation in Dortmund, where we presented not only Modula Lift but also our new pallet solution.
A select group of clients and prospects were invited to the Cata de Vino in Mexico for a special food and wine tasting event that served to promote business and matchmaking between Modula and companies from the area that are interested in improving their logistics processes.
We are currently at the SPS trade fair in Parma presenting our vertical solutions. As well as the standard ones, visitors can see our systems with controlled temperature, which are ideal for storing electrical materials. It’s a big occasion for us, because in addition to our own stand, we’ll also be at the stand of our partner System Electronics, which is our electrical supplier for Modula systems and our HMI Copilot interface. Furthermore, gear motor manufacturer Bonfiglioli’s stand will feature one of our compact vertical storage solutions – Modula Slim – which is just 1.6 metres deep.
Also lined up before the end of the month is our eagerly awaited Family Day, when members of staff and their families will be able to look around the Modula factory and spend an afternoon enjoying games, activities and guided tours of the HQ in Salvaterra.
This will be followed by an in-house event on 30 June (May) in association with D-Tech, which will be all about the e-grocery world and the Modula solutions that many players are using to run their e-commerce operations or dark stores.
The month will come to a close at the EMAF exhibition in Portugal, where the staff of our Spanish branch Modula Logística y Almacenaje will be helping to present our vertical solutions.
Are you ready for 10 events all over the world in June? Stay tuned.
