Modula warehouse management system for the electronic and software industry

Lacroix Group is a French multinational that operates mainly in the electronics, energy management and smart infrastructure industry sectors. Founded in 1936, Lacroix has developed a wide range of solutions and services, including Lacroix Electronics: a specialist in the design and manufacture of electronic components for various sectors, including automotive, home automation, industrial, healthcare and aerospace.

To store delicate products such as semiconductors in-house, it has adopted Modula Climate Control, an ideal solution to maintain control of humidity and temperature, thanks to an insulation system consisting of polyurethane foam panels wrapped around the structure.

Optimized Semiconductor Storage Management with Modula Climate Control.

The Modula Climate Control selected by Lacroix enables them to maintain a constant temperature inside the machine because the picking takes place in a bay equipped with special windows that are only opened when needed. The tray is only returned to the warehouse once the temperature is back in line with the parameters set.

Climate control consists of an air treatment unit and a dehumidifier to keep the materials stored, in this case semiconductors, in perfect condition.

This results in great savings both in terms of space but above all of waste because the materials always meet quality and safety standards, based on the parameters checked.

Picking remains ergonomic and safe: in the Lifts, the inventory is under control and floor space is drastically reduced.

An ideal solution that fits the electronics sector perfectly, as does the Clean Room that guarantees protection from dust and microorganisms to meet the ISO 14644 standards required in classes 6, 7 and 8.
