Warehouse Optimization Through Modula: The Zhonghe Success Story
The company has won several awards for its commitment and frequent scientific research, establishing itself as an ideal partner in the sector. To optimize the warehouse organisation and make the most of the unit height available, the company decided to use Modula systems.
Since September 2022, four Modula automated warehouses have been installed at the Hangzhou site to store various materials, including finished and semi-finished items. These systems cover an area of about 60 m2 but offer a storage volume of around 800 m2.
The introduction of Modula has revolutionised warehouse picking and inventory management. The machines deliver products directly to the operator, reducing picking and drop-off times and improving efficiency.
Options such as a laser pointer and alphanumeric bar help operators avoid errors by providing crucial information on the position and quantity of the items to be picked. Modula systems also integrate perfectly with the company management system, updating stock availability in real time.
