One of Modula’s Founding Values is ethics, together with excellence, appeal and innovation.
For us, ethics also means maximum transparency, which is why we have chosen to provide internal channels for reporting to the Supervisory Board information relating to our staff or third parties concerning violations of laws and regulations, the Group’s Code of Ethics and Conduct, and the Organisational Model.
This is a link to which ethical violations can be reported, but not commercial complaints or complaints and requests related to machines/sales/negotiations.
Receiving reports of any non-compliant behaviour allows us to identify any irregularities and take timely corrective action, preventing financial or reputational damage.
Anyone can send a report, even anonymously: employees, former employees, job applicants, partners, customers, suppliers, consultants, collaborators, partners and, more generally, anyone who has a connection with Modula.
The report must be adequately circumstantiated, i.e. it must contain sufficient details to allow the facts reported to be ascertained (e.g. elements enabling the identification of the persons involved, the context, place and time period of the facts reported and supporting documentation).
A whistleblowing report can be submitted via this link of the Whistleblowing Portal, which guarantees the confidentiality of the whistleblower’s identity by means of encryption protocols and tools. At the end of the report, the Portal provides a Unique Identification Code that allows you to check the processing status and to send and receive communications (also anonymously).
Legislative Decree No. 24 of 10 March 2023, implementing the European Directive 2019/1937 on Whistleblowing, introduced unified legislation regarding reporting channels and protections provided to whistleblowers in both the public and private sectors.
We ensure total respect of confidentiality for the whistleblower, the facilitator and all those involved in the process. In the case of anonymous reports, the identity of the reporter cannot be traced.
Forms of retaliation, whether personal or professional, against the whistleblower will neither be allowed nor tolerated. If you believe you are a victim of retaliation as a result of your report, you can report it to the National Anti-Corruption Authority (ANAC) via the dedicated IT platform.
Any processing of personal data is carried out in compliance with data protection legislation.
