MECSPE and LogiMAT provided us with an opportunity to present our innovative product, Modula Flexibox: an automated vertical bin storage system that aims to revolutionise picking by offering flexibility, customisation and speed.Designed for storing bins, Modula Flexibox is the ideal solution for handling large volumes of orders and intensive picking. This is the ideal solution, especially for batch and multi-order orders. However, it is also the best option for kit management, even in production, if a smart storage system is desired.
Modula Flexibox is the perfect solution for all picking needs, whether you operate a small warehouse or a large hub. This system is able to handle up to 180 bins per hour and optimise picking operations. This is thanks to its unique feature of simultaneously retrieving up to 9 bins per cycle (depending on the model chosen). It consumes very little energy: less than 1.2 kWh.
Flexibox features an innovative design that can meet the needs of all sectors due to its flexible and modular configuration. This solution can be started with a single unit and expanded over time, easily integrating with other products such as Slim, Lift, Pallet, and Next. Through the Modula WMS software ecosystem, everything is controlled in a centralised manner. This allows multiple devices to be controlled simultaneously with a single licence, ensuring complete integration with the main ERP systems. As a result of its versatility, companies can easily adapt to business growth, increased volumes, and changing operational requirements.
Furthermore, Flexibox is characterised by a compact design that allows hundreds of bins to be stored in small spaces, maximising workspace utilisation. In fact, it features a height of up to 20 metres, higher than other solutions on the market.
Modula Flexibox integrates seamlessly with third-party software and external systems such as conveyors, AMR, AGV robots, and cobots, making it an ideal solution for those seeking a fully automated logistics system.
Thanks to an ergonomic design based on the ‘goods-to-man’ approach and the optimal height of the picking bay, the system decreases operating costs and improves operator safety. The intuitive and user-friendly interface makes it extremely easy to use.
