Modula invests in well-being: new initiatives for employees and communities

14 February 2025

At Modula, we are firmly convinced that a healthy and supportive work environment is essential for people’s well-being and business success. We have therefore decided to expand our welfare programme with new initiatives to improve our employees’ quality of life and make a tangible contribution to society.

Greater flexibility for employee well-being

Work-life balance and personal well-being is a priority for us. Since January, the opening times of the company wellness area have therefore been expanded and made more flexible, giving everyone the opportunity to devote time to self-care:

  • Mondays to Fridays: 7:00 am to 9:00 am (trial from January to June 2025)
  • Mondays to Thursdays: 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm
  • Fridays: 12.00 pm to 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm

This initiative makes it possible employees to work out before the start of the day, relax mid-shift or relieve their stress after work, thus promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.

Valuing solidarity and social commitment

We believe in the importance of giving back value to the community and supporting those who dedicate themselves to others. Modula therefore offers eight paid hours per year to all employees who wish to engage in volunteering activities. A little gesture that can make a big difference for those in need.

Tangible support for the community

Our social commitment extends beyond the company’s boundaries. Modula continues to support major institutions such as Sassuolo Hospital and associations such as ERREPIÙ, which is dedicated to supporting people with sensory disabilities and those on the autism spectrum. We believe that a company’s success is not only measured by its economic results, but also by its positive impact on society.

Our contribution to the Rock No War project

Modula is also actively involved together with Florim and Kerakoll in Rock No War’s “Water is Life” project, with which we reached a significant milestone in late 2024. Together, we completed the construction of five 10,000-litre water tanks and repaired two other damaged ones. Thanks to this initiative, pupils in local schools no longer have to travel long distances to collect water, so they can attend classes regularly. In total, 200 teachers, 1,500 students and 1,300 inhabitants now have access to clean and safe drinking water, thus contributing to preventing diseases and improving the community’s living conditions.

Our goal

Our daily commitment is to create a working environment where people can feel good, grow and make a difference. We will continue to invest in our employees’ well-being and in supporting communities, because we believe that the value of a company also lies in its ability to generate a positive impact on society.
